Before you submit an application you must read the following information:
It is your responsibility to make sure you have all appropriate permissions for your market. Where necessary you must apply and pay for these separately e.g. Planning consent, Temporary Event Notice (TENs) or Premise Licence, Road closure, Use of premises e.g. City Centre Space Bookings.
Completing the application
Within the application, you will need to upload a layout plan of the market, this can be hand drawn as long as everything is clearly labelled.
You can upload the following file types, the size of which must not exceed 16Mb:
- Microsoft Word documents with the file extension 'doc';
- Text files with the file extension 'txt' or 'rtf';
- Images with the file entension 'jpeg';
- Compressed files with the extension 'zip'; and
- Files with the extension 'pdf'
For your application to be valid, you must complete all the required sections and submit your form at least 21 days in advance of the market. If you are not sure about the exact number of trading spaces at your market at the time of applying, you can provide an estimate, and confirm details at a later date should your application be successful.
