Apply for a Sunday market early entry permit

This permit allows use of specified trading spaces at the New Smithfield Sunday market throughout the permit period, when accessing the market during the early entry times of 5am to 5.50am, prior to the daily casual allocation.

Permits are valid for 6 months, from April to September and October to March.

The cost of a 6 month permit is £288 for up to two permitted trading spaces. If you request one space the fee will be £288, for two spaces the fee will be £288, for three or four spaces the fee will be £576, and so on.

To complete this online form you will need to provide your personal information (including your date of birth and national insurance number), and upload the following documents:

  • Proof of your right to work in the UK (usually your passport, national identity card or residence card), in colour;
  • Proof of your home address (two documents showing your name and home address);
  • Your valid public liability insurance policy or NMTF membership card (providing a minimum cover of £5million for trading on British markets); and
  • A recent passport style colour photo of yourself.
