Garden and allotment bonfires

Avoid burning garden waste on a bonfire – the smoke contributes to local air pollution and is a nuisance to nearby properties. More information is available at CleanAirGM.

Please do not burn household waste.  Get rid of your rubbish responsibly instead.

If a neighbour has a bonfire that's dangerous, phone 999. 

If their bonfire is causing you a problem, most neighbours will be considerate if you explain, but if it keeps happening, report it to us as an air pollution problem:
