Schools, education and childcare Help available for our students

Course fees – how much will it cost?

Many of our courses are completely free – all English, Maths, Everyday English, Family Learning, volunteer programmes and beginner computer courses.  Other courses (such as Childcare, Community Interpreting, higher level computer courses, Adult Health and Social Care and ESOL) are free for unemployed people actively seeking work and cost from £3 per hour for those in work.  However, if you are on a low income, we can help you with the fees – see below.

If you are not sure which course to choose or would like to help in making choices about your career and training, our impartial advice and guidance service for adults can help.  We also offer free, impartial advice about your next steps once you’ve joined a course.
