We are refreshing the Ancoats and New Islington Neighbourhood Development Framework (NDF). The 2016 document broke the area down into 6 distinct zones, each with specific characteristics.
Following the development in the ‘Front of Ancoats’; which includes Cutting Room Square and New Islington, we would like your input to ensure that our objectives are met for future regeneration, with focus on the 'Back of Ancoats'.
The 'Back of Ancoats', referred to in the map as Poland Street Zone covers the area bounded by Oldham Road, Bengal Street, The Rochdale Canal and Butler Street/ Rodney Street.
