Medieval Quarter improvements

The Medieval Quarter of Manchester is the historic area centred around the cathedral, Chetham's School of Music and the River Irwell.
Comprehensive plans to regenerate this area with more green space, improved paving, street furniture and landscaping already have planning permission, and were the subject of a previous consultation.
We intend to submit an updated planning application in June which reflects some refinements to these plans including a memorial for those who lost their lives in the May 22 terrorist attack.
