The former Central Retail Park site, next to Piccadilly and the City Centre, is an excellent opportunity to bring jobs to Ancoats. We took on the site in 2017 to ensure it is redeveloped to make the most positive contribution to this growing part of the city – for our residents, businesses and visitors.
We are consulting on our very early stage plans. We have written a set of objectives and early stage design principles for the redevelopment of this site and would like to see what you think of these ideas.
In the future, we may appoint a development partner to help us deliver the scheme, and there will be more consultation on detailed proposals once they are developed.
This consultation is a chance to provide your thoughts, suggestions and feedback on these initial ideas. Your views will be important as we develop plans for the site.
