Description of proposed variation as given by the applicant:

Proposed changes to conditions as follows:

To remove conditions 3 and 4 of Annexe 3 of the premises licence in relation to the provision of door staff and replace with the following:

"On Friday and Saturday nights, Door Staff will be employed at a ratio of 1:100 from 2000 hours until close. The DPS will risk assess the need for door supervision at all other times. When the risk assessment requires door supervision, SIA registered door supervisors will be engaged on such dates, between such times and in such numbers as is required by the risk assessment. A copy of the risk assessment will be made to responsible authorities on request."

The applicant states that the application “has been discussed and agreed with Greater Manchester Police” prior to submitting the application.

For information the conditions requested to be removed are:

Condition 3: “Door supervisors shall be employed at the premises from 1900 hours every night.”

Condition 4: “Door supervisors are to be employed to such a number as the management of the premises consider are sufficient to control the entry of persons to the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for a licensable activity.”
