Service update 19 June 2020
The premises licensing team are working remotely from the office. During this time, we are making some changes to how we provide our service;
We also ask that any enquiries are made by email rather than by telephone where possible.
Applications
Applications submitted online or by email will continue to be processed as normal. We are operating a reduced postal service, so there may be some delay to processing applications submitted by post and where we are unable to send documents electronically.
If you have recently submitted an application but have not yet received an acknowledgement, please email us.
Licensing and Gambling annual fees
We will not be issuing any invoices for fees due in 2020 until later this year. If you have already received an invoice, you may defer payment until further notice without notifying us. These timescales are subject to review depending on the Government closure requirements.
Hearings
Licence hearings are continuing to take place by way of telephone conference facilities. If you have made an application or relevant representation, which requires a hearing, you will be notified of how to take part by the officer dealing with the application. Members of the public may listen to the hearings and the call details will be available on the meeting agendas.
