My name’s Ben Barnes and I’m the Operations Manager for the Parking Contractor, NSL, that manages the parking for Manchester City Council.
Here we’re in one of our new CCTV vehicles, so it’s one of three that we have for the likes of school enforcement, which uses a mast and an operator to catch parents parking on zig-zag lines outside schools.
We are all worried about our children leaving school being hit by an increased volume of cars.
The CCTV vehicle changes behaviours by way of enforcing and issuing Penalty Charge Notices.
