We will eventually move towards an electronic purchasing system which is being developed on SAP. Our intention is to move into more automated forms of trading. This means our contractors will also need to have the ability to trade electronically.
Purchase cards
Purchase card is our accepted method of payment. They ensure rapid payment for contractors and are becoming increasingly common in local authorities. Information regarding purchase cards is available from the Corporate Procurement Service.
