Manchester City Council Small Works Framework

The new Small Works Construction Framework is now live.

A total of 9 contractors have been appointed to work on the Small Works Construction Framework, for the delivery of construction projects of a value between £2,000 – £500,000 for Manchester City Council, AGMA authorities and associate members.

Constructor partners have been selected through a competitive tender process backed by Manchester City Council, demonstrating their ability to deliver high quality, value for money, public sector projects.

The framework will last 4 years and its aim is to continue to build strong partnership working with the construction industry to improve service delivery in terms of timescale and quality for projects, as well as to ensure good value for money. The works within the framework can vary from key improvement operations and repairs, to emergency works, remedial work and safety works.

NWCH Professional Services Framework

The North West Construction Hub (NWCH) and Southern Construction Framework (SCF) have jointly launched a Professional Services Framework, enabling clients swift and simple access to multi disciplinary design and management professionals; specialists in delivering successful outcomes through integrated working.

NWCH and SCF invited applications from suitably experienced organisations who wished to be considered for selection to tender for the supply of NWCH/SCF Integrated Consultancy Framework (ICF). This is a joint procurement with Manchester City Council, Hampshire County Council and Devon County Council to provide construction consultancy services to all public sector bodies across South West England, South East England, London, North West England, West Midlands and North Wales.

The new Professional Services Framework will complement NWCH and SCF construction frameworks, key members of the NACF (National Association of Construction Frameworks), and will be available in regional lots to public sector clients in the North West, South West, South East, London, Wales, and West Midlands. This framework will enable its users to demonstrate value for money from an open book system of accounting, design innovation and the removal of waste from the process of procurement, with the added benefit of being a nationally run framework that focuses on local value.
