Social services Your review

How you can take part in your review?

First, it’s really important that you do – after all, it’s about you.

Before the review, we’ll give you a booklet that you can use to write down what you think. Your carer or Social worker can help you with this.

You can go to the review and tell the meeting what you think and feel about what’s happening in your life. The independent reviewing officer wants to hear this, because we believe it’s really important. You’ll have plenty of time to speak and, if you need it, someone to help you be heard.

You might not want to go to your review. If you don’t, your carer or social worker will tell you about it and show you the independent reviewing officer’s report.
