Youth Buzz Awards 2024

Nominations for the Youth Buzz Awards 2024 are now CLOSED

Thank you for your interest in celebrating the achievements of young people across Manchester during the last 12 months. The Youth Buzz Awards will be taking place on Saturday 9 March 2024 at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel from 5pm until 8pm (arrivals from 4.30pm).

Manchester is working with UNICEF UK to put children's rights into practice and become an internationally recognised ‘Child Friendly City’. During our journey to accreditation, we will create communities where all children and young people have a meaningful say, and truly benefit from, the local decisions, services and spaces that shape their lives.

A Child Friendly City listens to and values its children and young people and puts them at the heart of decision making.
