Parking Appealing against a ticket or fine

Traffic Penalty Tribunal

Traffic Penalty Tribunal (TPT) decides appeals against parking and bus lane penalties. It is the final stage of appeal for motorists or vehicle owners against a penalty issued by a council.

You can find out when and how to appeal to the Tribunal against what may be considered an incorrectly issued parking or bus lane Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

The TPT is an independent organisation where a lawyer will examine a case and any decision that is made by the TPT is final and binding on both sides. The TPT will not charge you to appeal.
