Parks, leisure and the arts Food and drink at Heaton Park

There are four cafés at Heaton Park:

  • The Stables café and the Lakeside café are operated by Life Cafés and Resorts. They serve Barista-crafted coffee, blended to order milkshakes and smoothies, and freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and beyond. Both cafés are open every day, but opening hours vary, depending on the season and the park closing times. 

  • The Hidden Gem cafe at Heaton Park Garden Centre serves coffee and teas with homemade organic cakes and pastries. Open 9.30am to 4.30pm every day.

  • The cafe at Heaton Park Golf Centre is open 8am to 4pm every day and is open to non-golfers too. They serve breakfast baps, sandwiches, soup and burgers.

Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in our beautiful park - just make sure that you dispose of all of your litter properly, or take it home. Please leave the park as you found it.

There is a strict No Barbeque policy in the park: any BBQs will be extinguished by our park officers.
