If you prefer to cycle with others why not join a local cycling group:

  • Bike-to-work days provide an organised monthly ride into work which start at various points around Manchester and end in Stevenson Square to build up confidence and help people to ride more safely   
  • British Cycling provides information on upcoming events and organised rides
  • Greater Manchester Cycling Campaign  provides information on a range of local cycle groups
  • South Manchester CTC is a member group organising regular rides to enjoy the countryside

  • Sustrans is a national charity who aim to make it easier for people to walk and cycle
  • Wheels for All is a national initiative that helps all children and adults with disabilities and differing needs to engage in quality cycling activities. Within Manchester sessions are organised at the Wythenshawe Wheelers based at Wythenshawe Park, Debdale Park Wheels for All in Gorton and Simply Cycling at Boggart Hole Clough
