COVID-19 Local Restrictions Support Grants

Since 23 October 2020, the Government has put in place a range of Local Restrictions Support Grants (LRSG) to support businesses required to close during local and national lockdowns.

To simplify things for Manchester businesses, we have created one application form. All you need to do is apply once and tell us the earliest date you were required to close and we’ll use your application to assess your eligibility against the range of grants.

We can pay a grant to businesses that are registered in the city of Manchester.

Application and eligibility

If you have previously received an LRSG payment you do not need to apply again. We will use the information from your original application to assess you for any further grant payments.

Grant payments after 15 February 2021

The Government guidelines for the payment of Local Restriction Support Grant and Additional Restriction Grants only allow us to make payments for the period up to 15 February 2021.

We are currently awaiting further guidance from the Government before we can make grant payments after this date.

The Government is due to announce their 'road map' for the easing of COVID-19 restrictions on 22 February and we expect to receive guidance for grant payments a week after this date. If you still qualify for a grant payment, we will make automatic payments into bank accounts. Businesses do not need to apply again.
