Parks, leisure and the arts Blackburn Park Conservation Area

Trees

Trees are a major element in maintaining the quality of Blackburn Park. They are found alongside the roads and in private gardens, and all are protected by conservation area legislation. Development proposals should ensure that existing attractive, mature trees are retained.

Anyone wishing to fell, prune or uproot a tree covered by a Tree Preservation Order or in a Conservation Area should seek permission first from us before undertaking any work to the tree.
