Coming to the Coroners Court

For most people, the Coroner's court is an unfamiliar place. Even some medical professionals are unsure what to expect as they will only attend once or twice in their career.

This section of the website explains how to find the Coroner's court, what will happen at the inquest and how to play your part in the process. There is also information on how to claim allowances for attending.

If you still have any queries after reading these pages, the office can be contacted on 0161 219 2222 between 9am and 4pm or by email at coroners.office@manchester.gov.uk .
