The Council's focus on action to help tackle climate change is being boosted with changes to one of its scrutiny committees.
A book of condolence has opened on the Manchester City Council website where friends and colleagues can leave a message following the death yesterday of Cllr Sue Murphy, Deputy Leader of the Council.

Sue, who was first elected to the City Council in 1995, had been Deputy Leader of the Council since 2010 and previously served as Exec Member for Employment and Skills and Exec Member for Finance.
Manchester City Council’s Executive will consider the findings of a major City Centre Review when it meets on Wednesday 8 February.
More than 2,600 people have already given their views on options for the Council’s 2017-20 budget.
